With the current world economic tempo and the current state of the US, I think this books is on the money. A great read and informative allot of times. Full of twists and turns and non stop action and suspense. Its inspiring and thought provoking. The reader is also forced to take a look and ask the question of "Am I prepared"? I highly recommend this book and the Day by Day Armageddon Series written by J.L. Bourne. You will not be disappointed with it!

Great book that vividly paints the portrait of what America will be like in a few years when the weight of our poor decisions finally becomes too much to bear. Definitely worth the time and the money!

Looking forward to a sequel! I enjoyed the author's other work (the Day by Day Armageddon series), and enjoyed this as well. A good reminder to take inventory of important supplies, and maintain a low profile, especially when loved ones could be in harms way.
Soul Symmetry (Rave Series) (Volume 3) :: Black Crow (The Raven Series) (Volume 2) :: Saving Angel (A Divisa Novel) (Volume 1) :: Guantánamo Diary: The Fully Restored Text :: Ghost Run (Day by Day Armageddon)

After being hooked on the DBDA series, I made sure to check out J. L. Bourne's tomorrow war book. It kept me hooked the whole time. The only part I did not enjoy about it was when I had finished the book... guess I will have to pick up the sequel.

In a word, fantastic! The author’s knowledge of military equipment, tactics and survival techniques shine through in this novel. I learned quite a bit just reading this about the aforementioned topics. For me, it helped to read this with the internet handy. I like to look up maps of places and things the author talked about that I wasn't aware of. The story line also gave me pause to think because this could actually happen. I can see an infrastructure break down doing exactly this to our country. I’ve been a fan of the author for years and this book doesn’t disappoint.

Thank you once again, Mr. Bourne, for an exciting and adventurous read. I became hooked after an old acquaintance recommended the DBDA series to me (at the time you had only published the first 2), and have been eagerly awaiting your books as you publish them. If you happen to be a fan of the DBDA series, look no further. While there are no zombies to be had in this recent installment by Mr. Bourne, it sets a darker tone because of the plausibility of the plot. I will continue to follow Mr. Bourne on social media to get news of more astounding upcoming releases by him, as well as purchase every release he publishes.

In a single word but quickly JL Bourne has become my favorite author of current times. This book was simply great and without giving ANYTHING away, read this, read his other series/installments as well they are all excellent !

Mr Bourne has done an excellent job here. A very gripping plot, which keeps you interested and turning the pages. I like characters and they are fleshed out well. Bourne really does a good job with the journal format of his books which is actually harder than you would think. Well done.

I enjoyed this story immensely. The story follows 'Max' as he tries to survive a societal collapse that turns America into a land ruled by martial law and a disregard for the rights of all citizens. A corrupt government agency attempts to impose it's will during a time of chaos and forces the protagonist to choose armed resistance. I hope this isn't the last time the author shares a story from this world.

A truly chilling, sobering outlook for the "what if" scenario of the grid collapsing. I've never been more terrified for how wholly unprepared I am to defend my loved ones if god forbid this scenario presented itself. I've read this book at least a dozen times and give it as a gift to relatives. Don't hesitate to pick this one up!

Held my attention all day - and all night too! Fast-moving, often educational, suspenseful, sometimes too realistic. I never appreciated "The Grid" half so much as after reading this book. If you are a survivalist, this book is for you.

Bourne tells a very different dystopian tale from his previous books. The framing of the story is also unique in the genre. I really like the fact that the details of how the characters survive and fight are very realistic. The details drive the story instead of just being a backdrop.

Yoo can't go wrong with any of JL's books. Can't wait to buy the next one.

Just as good as his day by day armeggedon series. I hope he continues max's story. Straight up action/thriller. Very realistic, very plausible, riviting entertainment. My only complaint is he doesn't write them fast enough. Felt like I was right there with max there are also great problem solving ideas and tips for survival situations. A must read for anyone who read his zombie series.

I enjoy this genre and liked this book. The author had me interested in the character enough to plow through this book in a couple days. It included some interesting things about comsec I had not previously considered.

Bought this book for my husband. Just like all of the other Bourne books he loved it. Said Bourne is one of the only authors that seem genuine when narrating a combat scene. From start to finish, couldn't put it down. Even though it may be fiction, the story line keeps you wondering if this is actually happening. Great read!

This books will terrify you for the possible future of our country. But in a good way. I read this book from start to finish in one sitting like all of J.L.'s other books. Incredible read for anyone who likes a possible apocalyptic future scenario. All characters are like able, reasonable, and honorable. Read this now.

Another outstanding read from J. L. Bourne. I had to force myself to put it down so that I wouldn't finish it in one sitting. The story is highly realistic and taps into the fears of what I believe to be the silent majority in the country. Read it and be prepared to reassess everything you do.

JL defnaitely proved he could write I'm a different direction than his last series. I would give it six stars if it would have turned into a new series. The closer to the end I got the more I was hoping to left off waiting to be told volume 2 is being worked on. Keep up the great work. Looking forward to more works from you.

Excellent read. I was drawn in very quickly and had trouble putting this book down. I read it in a few sittings and found it to be every bit as enjoyable as any of his other books, all of which I thoroughly enjoyed. Like all great books I've read, I wish it had been longer! Great job J.L. ! Can't wait for whatever you tackle next.

I absolutely enjoyed Tomorrow War. Bourne has a knack for journal styled fiction as outlined in his Day By Day Armageddon series, and it travels well into this new world. Hopefully one day we'll see more of what Max and his fellow compatriots are up to. If you like survival fiction, pick this one up.
